About the Journal

Journal of Society and Identity is an open access international peer-reviewed journal published electronically twice a year in January and July. In addition to regular publications, some special issues are also published by the journal. Special issues and topics covered in these issues are announced in advance.

The aim of Journal of Society and Identity is to publish original studies on issues that concern society in the national and international arena. Original disciplinary or interdisciplinary articles on theoretical, applied, or experimental events in all fields of social sciences and humanities are published in the journal. In this context, the journal includes all kinds of academic studies with social content. However, studies based on society and identity, which constitute the founding purpose of the journal, are given priority.

The journal accepts articles both in Turkish and English in the field of social sciences. Academic studies translated into Turkish with permission from the author are also published after going through the referee process.
